"Visited this place here on a whim today and was glad that I stopped in with my family and friends to enjoy some home cooked Chinese food. While the atmosphere is not fancy you can tell the food is made love and it is truly a small family owned restaurant business. The prices are also very reasonable. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was piping hot. The owner was cooking everything herself as well as taking orders and bringing the food out so we were patient.Things that needed to be crispy were crispy. The aromas and the textures were lovely. I felt like I ordered the whole menu and everything was delicious. They have several dim sum dishes which were excellent. The shumai was large and flavorful. The ha gow was also delicious. My favorite though are the crispy haim sui gok. The outside was crispy flaky, on the inside was soft and gooey like it's supposed to be with a lovely meat feeling. The Chinese broccoli was semi-sweet and easy to eat. The barbecue pork slices in the crispy barbecue pork or good as well. There may have been just a little bit too much sauce on the pork slices but with rice it was perfect. The pan fried dumplings were tender with just the right amount of crunch and the regular dumplings had very juicy fillings. I got the pan seared meat pies that were delicious as well. As soon as I cut it open all the juices just flowed right out. The fried shrimp balls were delicious and similar to other dim sum some places I have been to. The chicken feet fell off the bone. The cucumber salad was refreshing. The sesame balls were a nice little sweet treat. I would highly recommend this restaurant. It's not fancy but it's good home cooking. I think they can work on some of the dipping sauces but overall family and friends were so full from all the good food."

"We visit Tucson just to eat at this delicious spot (and see a few friends)! We never manage to order a reasonable amount of food, there are too many fantastic options to narrow it down. The standouts so far are the cold cucumber salad, noodles with pork bean sauce, and the pies (pork & chive filling), but everything we've had has been incredible! We also ordered a hot pot of tea that was a wonderful loose leaf. The food is simply amazing and very reasonable prices. I tell everyone I know they need to visit Tucson just to experience this fantastic food!"

"I Jewel's Noodle Kitchen so much. Small family owned and everything is made fresh from scratch. Their housemade noodles are so good, fresh and hearty and I love their cold dishes like the black wood ear mushroom salad and the shredded potato salad. The housemade dumplings look really good too. We don't eat meat but they have lots of interesting looking dishes. On top of the delicious food, the family is soooo sweet."
